Some confusion on fuel injectors

So I'm currently running FIC 2150cc fuel injectors and a perrin fuel rail. I'm taking those off and I'm thinking of goin with PTE 1200cc. I know I'm gonna have to get another tune shortly after, but how soon and how much will it hurt my baby?

Current mods that may be relevent

2.4l stroker w/ FP Red at 30psi
Buschur Double pumper
Perrin Fuel rail
HKS RS Intake
GM maf translator
Stock ECU

Well, I know I need a tune badly because I'm running super rich with the double pumper and 2150's but she was tuned on E85 before and now I'm back on 93 so the injectors are pretty much just overkill.

I can see why you'd think this fuel setup would be overkill on 93 oct. but couldn't you just keep it as is and get retuned? That way if you ever wanted to run high boost and e85 again you wouldn't have to switch back. Just my .02...best of luck in whatever you decide

You're probably fouling the **** outta some plugs not be retuned yet huh? lol

Yeah man, spark is not my friend right now, lol. I do need a re-tune bad but I don't think I'm ever gonna go back to E85. Thanks for the .02 though. The problem is that I just don't know that much about fuel injectors, trims, pumps etc.

Exactly, if your driving with the E85 Map, shut it down and worst case get a base email tune for your setup on 93. They could scale the injectors for you.

Do you have a dual map switch for the ECU?

haha, I may not know fuel too wel, but I'm not a complete moron. It's tuned back on 93 right now. I'm just thinking the 2150's are over kill and I'd be better off with something just a bit smaller
