Correct. They only tend to break during a launch or slamming gears. I do neither for the time being. This car will be hitting the drag strip this season after TRE tranny/t-case

I live in NJ but I own a house in Myrtle Beach...I am definitely down for heading to MB and partying this summer though...

PS you should shoot Collin @ Toxicfab a PM about testing out one of his badass manifolds on your setup...I would love to see the results...

That sounds like a lot of fun We will def have to plan that, like seriously!

I have thought about testing a manifold but a few of my friends have tested them and not sure if they are worth it. Maybe at my power leval but for most it won't make a real difference, maybe 5hp. A stock ported seems to be no restriction for me at 600-650hp. may help in the 700hp range but my turbo will **** parts if I dyno this thing anymore at that power level.

A few things real quick before they get asked.

No logs but the timing ramps up from 2* at 6k to 16* at 7k. We didnt expect it to do exactly what it did and since I am more worried about a turbo turning well over normal shaft speed, we didnt make a second attempt.

There will be no actual logs posted.

The limiting factor is the turbo not the motor.

Mikey's motor is more like a 10.5:1 motor, it has our custom spec cams which are no longer available. I feel very strongly though that a ported head on a motor like Mine or Mikey's can just use S3s and make the exact same amount of power. The only likely side effect is slightly slower spool. I will be testing the S3 in my car vs the ER2 that I have and Mike has.

The best part is S3s are always on the shelf, ER2 have 5 sets in 8 months that we could make out of billets...S3 through us or direct from GSC

I think the 2 biggest things that allowed the power are the cylinder head work which is more or less a hand ported recreation of the GSC CNC head and the GSC cams. Jeff M'fn Bush on the headwork and GregC at GSC...my hat is off you gentleman

Pics will be posted when we want to release it. Sorry but there are a lot of people that want the design right now and that we will not give out lightly...

There really isn't that much mystery, at least, based on the one pic and R/T Ernie's comments a person can draw conclusions.... The turbine inlet area is converted from a dual entry to a single entry by removing the divider wall. The outer thickness of the footprint is reduced.

The divider wall that separates the siamesed half-moon wastegate ports is removed creating a single circular wastegate bypass port. I guess that the transitional area into the scroll/volutes is smoothed but must remain separate and twin-scrolled. The entrance and the exits of the nozzles can also be enlarged up to a certain extent.

Of course, R/T's conceptualization was really groundbreaking. He thought it up. He definitely deserves the credit. Good job.

Ernie did what was required to free up the exhaust gas flow created by a large displacement Evo engine trying to flow exhaust gases out through the dinky MHI 10.5 turbine housing. He resolved the backpressure issue. He is the man!

I am not sure but I seem to recall that 9sec9 did some mid nine second passes with the Red on his BR 2-Liter. He definitely pushed the envelope.
