Competition Clutch Twin - Another Review..
As a follow up to another thread I thought I would share my experience so far
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-review-5.html
Background:
I've had car for around 4 months. I have not owned or driven another EVO prior to this. Had my share of 5.0's back in the day.
Car had 55k on original clutch that started slipping right after a tune. Thankfully, not on the Dyno.
The following was installed:
CC Twin A - 24 lbs with flywheel
Amsoil MTG for tranny
AGP Front Engine Mount
WORKS SS clutch line
Initial impressions < 50 miles no launches:
Basically ON/OFF.
Peddle feel is only a little firmer then stock.
A little bit deceleration noise. No chatter.
7k shifts are quite smooth. The whole gear box feels better(could be that old clutch was going when I bought the car)
Takes a little time to get used getting it going in 1st gear...
All in all I'm happy.
Here's a couple of shots of the peddle stop attached to peddle.
