So, Mike, what is your take on the FIC 1250 BlueMax injectors? I ask only because personally I am leaning toward a FIC BlueMax injector for my stock block Red equipped VIII. I don't know whether or not there is a 1000cc fuel injector clinic "BlueMax" nozzle, or would I need to jump up to the 1250 injectors?

Sorry guys I just realized that I started this thread on the wrong sub-forum. Perhaps a Moderator would be so kind as to move this thread over to Evo Engine & Drivetrain for me. Next time I'll try to be more careful.

achillies refer to post #12..

sparky, I'd get the pte 1200cc's. No point in getting the 1000cc's there practically the same price.

if your planning on going the e85 route later on down the line, then get the fic 1680's and be done with it. pte 1200cc's will work on e85 but its gonna max the injectors out above 30psi+ on the black.

go with a set of high impedence fic 1100's or ID 1000's, they are so much easier to get a better idle and are an all around better injector

I am using FIC 1150s with 2 walbro 255s in the tank and and peaking at 86 idc @ around 31-32psi on a gt35r with E85.

I am still stock intake manifold/throttle body with HKS 272 cams.

What is the average IDC% with pte1200s/single walby on a FP black stock block?

EDIT: For E85

Depends on what kind of fuel and how much boost you are running. If you are on E85 with a single walbro, you would probably be limited to around 23-24psi max. If you run race fuel or figure out how to run higher boost on gas without blowing up your engine then you would be able to run 30psi before you got into the 90% range.

Duel in tank pumps make a huge difference, even over an inline system I noticed gains of 12-15% IDC. Over a single pump it is more like 30+%

I have a BR Double Pumper already. Just want to get an idea of what IDC% i will likely see.

Running the PTE1000cc on my setup and my IDCs are plenty safe at 28psi of boost.
