So I just did some testing.
Slipping around 2k or a bit less seems to smooth things out. I think I was @ too high an RPM when experiencing most shudder.
I also adjusted the pedal a bit more. It's now engaging similar to when clutch was 1st installed.
I think it may help a little as far as control of slip.
Thanks for the help all...

It's hit or miss on the shudder. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.
I have 5k on mine.
I keep my pedal height a little high. @ first when your breaking it in you may have to turn the adj screw one turn.
I think it's the price you pay for an unsprung clutch.
Get used to it....

Um I would be careful from the shuddering. When I first installed it, this clutch was perfect. Very smooth engagement, shifting, hardly any rattle noise when the clutch pressed in etc... But soon after it started making a slight chirping noise, maybe around 80 miles on the clutch. Then it started making a loud elephant blowing its trunks noise during innitial take off engagement/slipping. It was equivilant to in loudness to sounding off the horn.
And around 200 miles mark it started shuddering really aggressively. Imagin trying to do a normal take off from a dead still feathering the acceleration pedal and you get wheel hop!! Well after about 800 miles of that, I decided it was time to try and launch the car and maybe it might fix the issue. WRONG! Absolutely do not attempt to launch the car! The chudderin was so severe that now my 1st gear sounds just like my reverse gear! Its maybe about half as loud as the reverse gear sound but its definately very noticeable.
I dont know what got damaged inside. There werent any chunks that came out with the oil change but some sparkling most likely shavings. Well I sent a video clip etc... and got a refund but now Im stuck with that 1st gear noise and dont know what is wrong with it. Worse part I'm running a Shep trans street strip build transmission I installed just under a year ago.
