fp black + o2 dump - noob question

so im getting my fp black.
i know that o2 dump reduces creep and many other benefits but due to strict emissions id like to keep my car from going with the dump option.
i know that fp black comes with internal waste gate. but is there any way i can have the same kind of effect by adding an additional external waste gate or something? BOV works differently correct?

I think you may be a bit confused on how stuff works. The FP Black was designed to be used with an internal wastegate, no reason to change that.

An o2 dump will not affect emissions testing unless there is a visual inspection and they notice the open pipe. Installing an external wastegate will be the same, and if anything, more noticeable.

BOV and WG are two completely separate systems.

ahhh i see. yes i knew that bov and wg work differently i kinda just threw it out there

so there is nothing other than o2 dump that will give the exact same effect like o2 dump itself correct?

A properly designed divorced wastegate internally recirculated o2 elim downpipe will work just as well without the obnoxious noise.

On a 2.0L engine I don't think that you will have any boost creep issues with the FP Black. You should be fine with a high quality aftermarket O2 housing. At any rate don't try fixing things until they are broken. Just bolt up the Black and see whether or not you have adequate boost control with the stock WG.
