oil pressures after oil cooler delete

for those who have deleted the oil cooler and just blocked off the lines, what are you seeing typically for idle pressures and cruising pressures?

and how long of a M18x1.5 bolt/plug are you using?

technically you shouldn't see any change in oil pressure.
You will only see a change if the oil relief valve cannot flow enough oil, causing pressure to increase.
in saying that the oil cooler doesn't "lose" oil pressure like large clearance bearings etc, it's all contained.

Likely blown engine. Cannot reuse (without ultra sonic cleaning) which I wouldn't go for and likely just end up with an aftermarket piece.

Yea I'm sure it benefits or Mitsu engineers would not have put one there. However many a built EVO from many well known camps on here don't run them.

I have not seen any testing in temps with vs. without though I couldn't see not running one on a road race car.

i ran without an oil cooler for my initial engine break in.
oil temp very very quickly rose to 120deg C (248F) so the load had to be reduced a lot.
