Doesn't sound like boost cut to me; I hit it once and there's wasn't a popping/"drum roll" sound, it just felt like I'd hit a wall.

I'm leaning towards it being the plugs as well.

Yes the car was tuned before I got it and I don't see messin with the bov helping unless that's causing a leak but it literally just started maybe a week ago and I was thinking plugs or boost leak but haven't had time to change plugs and wanted a second opinion

After inspection/replacement of plugs, do this:

If you still have your stock bov toss that back in and see if it still does it.

^^+1^^ it sounds like your BOV is getting pushed open "flutter" at low RPM, check the hose to the intake manifold for leaks. What happens if you get into at say 4000RPM in 4th gear?

That flutter is happening after it cuts out so many times it's cutting out bad enough to think I'm letting of the throttle it doesn't always do that just if I try to hold it and I was trying to show that the boost bounces while it's cutting out and u can hear it really good in the exhaust but it's hard to hear flying by when it's windy

What does this prove because I did that just now on my way to work and it spiked 25 popped once or twice then stopped and went so it's not near as bad if I nail it at 4000 in 4th

Get a APS Twin Vent or a MR 9 DV. Turbo XS is junk my tuner won't even touch a car that has a TXS blow off on it, there known to leak and plus from what your describing sounds like a boost leak with a rich condition during shifting possibly from running that Turbo XS valve, FWIW id say try swaping the valve and see if it gets any better GL man

it's your TurboXS fluttering and any BOV can do it at lower rpm's and higher loads part throttle. As somebody else mentioned try a different BOV preferably a stock one and see what happens or you can take off the one you have and clean it. Do you have any codes? CEL on?

What kind of plugs did you install and what did you gap them at?

+1000000 for the type of plugs and improper gapping can make a world of a difference especially under load

..help at all unless the injectors or fuel pump is bad, hold off on that for now. What turbo do you have in this car? First thing after the plugs and BOV is a boost leak test there are several how to's on this forum.
