Ok so i boost leak tested my car today to check my new pipping was good. As soon as i get to 5psi i noticed my crank vent tube was blowing air out. So to rule out a bad pcv i removed to pcv from the valve cover. Pcv does not leak but i still get alot of air coming out the valve cover. So i removed the oil cap and boost leak tested again and put my ear to the oil cap. The noise i heard was really weird. To best describe it is it sounded like a slow dull thumping which to me kinda sounded like a bubble popping in oil. So i originally thought maybe a valve seal went bad or bad ring. But with that noise im thinking bad turbo where air is getting into the oil line somehow. But, my car does not smoke at idle, cruising or WOT. My friend said a little black smoke comes out under boost which black smoke is fuel rite? So im stumped in figuring out what this is.

mine does that too. let the engine warm up before you do the boost leak test.

Yea i did it with the engine hot. Drove to my friends house and pulled it straight in his garage. I hope its just the turbo thats shot lol
