I ran the ETS 4" core for a while, I was able to get it in there without any trimming to the bumper but I did have to remove the crash beam. I have since moved up to a 5" ETS core and will have to do some trimming on the bumper now

I ran the ETS 4" core and did not have to remove the front crash bar.

What I did though was to bend the little ears on the crash bar that would touch the top front corners of the IC to get the crash bar to fit.

I haven't fitted the 5" yet due to the roll cage being built and the whole car being apart. The 4" fit JUST behing the bumper without trimming, I did re-bend the P/S cooler lines a little for clearance and mounted it directly to the core support without using spacers though.

I went with the 5" because I'm going to be running the EFR9180 with hopes of BIG hp and the 100+ degree temps here in the summer are cause for a huge fmic!

heres a pic of the stock vs. 4" ETS

I sold the 4" before I recieved the 5" but I do have a pic of it for size comparison, 5" FMIC vs. 4yr old

Thanks! She likes working on the car with me.

I also made the switch to 3" pipes on the FMIC so my cutting will probably be a little more extreme than using the 2.5" pipes. My car is a IX and the bumper mesh didn't even have to be removed to get the 4" in there, I was pretty happy about that.

You can see in the pic of the two how the bigger IC outlet comes out where the factory one does after the 45 degree coupler. Fits with standard piping
