rear o2 sensor. Do you have a test pipe? Inspect the wiring under the passenger seat.

You have to either turn the rear o2 sensor off by disabling the parity bits or you need a rear o2 cel eliminator. The rear o2 checks to see if your cat is working correctly, since you dont have a cat, it will throw a cel.

I am getting same code lately. I had this code ever since high pressure car wash underneath. I have megan testpipe with cel pix+anti fouler. haha. I took out rear o2 housing and noticed light coat of water on sensor and anti-fouler. I wiped off and did not have code yesterday and it came back this morning. About to order new sensor. Is this code hurts performance?

k so last night I used the car with no problem, but this morning I had the code once again. How long do the sensors usually last? How much can I get a new one for?

I am about to order too. Mitsu dealer sells like $300-400.

Scroll down and you will see $130 for Denso rear o2(stock one is Denso too). Unlike universal, it is direct plug in and no need to solder wires.

One concern is I saw someone got same code after replacing new o2 sensor.

Guys - just turn off the rear O2 sensor per the earlier recommendation.....if you don't know how then search in the Ecuflash section or talk to your tuner....

see if ur friend with an evo will lend you his o2 sensor and use that. If cel doesnt pop up, then ur o2 is bad and need a new one.
