OBX Turbo Manifold

Does anyone have this OBX Turbo Manifold installed:
http://www.obxracingsports.com/products.php?pk=1024
It's 321 stainless steel, not 304 like every other one.
What do you think about it???

Isn't this a newer one, because old one was 304 ss and it was half the price. If it would be the same, why would it be 699$???

Spend your money on an American made quality part. Such as ETS, AMS, STM Exc. That obx is junk and thin wall tubing and will crack.

I just need a comment from somebody who had it installed. How did it work. Because I can have that manifold for free from my brother, who crashed his 06 EVO this sunday and never had chance to install it. :-(

Install it and then come back to give everyone your feedback on how it cracks

Why not read the whole thread?

Hell, shouldn't take more than an hour to install...slap it on and report back.

It looks just like the Megan installed in my viii. No crack yet with 350whp and 150k miles. Guess I'm lucky she runs solid!

321 SS Heat resistance properties

http://www.sandmeyersteel.com/321-321H.html

Link to 321 SS heat resistance properties.

I have no information on build quality, but with the change from 304 SS alloy to 321 SS alloy they have made the effort to improve the material the exhaust manifold is made out of.

Your brothers exhaust manifold is free to you, so with a little effort and a little money you could give it a try and let everyone know what happens.

Apparently it has a lifetime warranty so try it out for free and see what it does. If it sucks you lost nothing but time.

And time is something you'll never get back. Plus extra money on buying gaskets and coolant. Buy quality made parts and be done.
