Be aware that the Evo 8/9 have different turbo outlet pipes that are just subtly different enough to make some kits not fit.

Injen is well known for selling Evo 9 customers the pipe originally designed for the 8 (as was my case) which will guarantee it to blow off from boost.

I also recommend selling or getting rid of it for a better designed kit.

I personally run Buschur's intercooler & pipes and haven't had a problem.

You also wan to make sure the silicone and clamp is on the other side of the bead, not on the bead.

Hi, mine is beaded as well and im experiencing the same problem at the moment. Already has hairspray on it, it hasnt come off yet, but i havent gotten to push it harder to its limits yet but i will say i marked where the coupler sits and after 6-9 pulls i noticed that the coupler has moved outwards about half in inch, so im worried it will still come off, right now it should be right at where the bead is on the IC side pipe.
