Intercooler Pipe Blowing off

So here recently when I go through the gears very hard (100%) throttle I will blow off the lower intercooler pipe off the intercooler. It blows off from the rubber coupler before the intercooler. I have injen intercooler piping, FP Red, 1250cc injectors, tune, 27lbs of boost, stock 9 BOV. Any ideas??? OH I also have am using the stock rubber piece and the upgraded t clamps.

get a 4ply silicone coupler from a reputable vendor, securely tighten the tbolt clamps. Those pipes shouldnt come off at all with that combination.

Get rid of the Injen LICP, I have had the same problem with the one that came on my car. You could also try hair spraying the inside of the coupler/outside of pipe right before you slip it together. That has always worked for me

Also use some hairspray, suave extra hold, then slide it on and clamp it...it won't move. I'm running a hta86 with 4 ply and tbolt clamps and no bead on one of my lowers and it doesn't pop off.

also i often see people not thoroughly cleaning the IC piping as they clamp it down. dirt and even blow-by can cause the tclamps to slip. clean the contact area with rubbing alchohol, then spray with hairspray. if the IC piping also is beaded, theres no way that thing is popping off under most circumstances.

Yeah I just ordered a ETS 3.5 Intercooler and their LICP. I'll make sure to do the hair spray trick once it arrives and its installed.

It is beaded, so not sure why it would blow off. And I have heard the injen LICP is junk. When I bought the car it came with it.

I agree. I have the Injen LICP right now and mine has blown off a few times, I even have T-bolt clamps. The pipe just does not square up at all to the intercooler. I gave up and ordered a new LICP from ETS when I bought my new intercooler from them. Eventually you will stretch the coupler out if you keep having to reattach it over and over again.

I had a T-Bolt blowing off the TB because the clamp was too wide and switched to the smaller stock clamp and it's been good since. Definitely use hairspray.
