Oil Stabilizers?

What's the general consensus on oil stabilizers? To use, or not?

I think he was referring to products like Lucas oil treatment, and stp's oil treatment stuff. http://www.stp.com/products/oil-addi...oil-treatment/
idk but imo the stuff sounds like snake oil, maybe only worthwhile if your using autozone brand engine oil.

Rule of thumb.

if you need any type of oil additive for your oil this means you need to be looking to get a better oil for your engines.
Get yourself some group 4 or group 3 synthetic and call it a day.

iv been useing the New Lucas Oil Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer for about a year now and I have seen lots of good results from it. It got rid of all of my valve ticking and I can tell everything is running smother. This is what the bottle looks like.
