Is it ok to do this?lol I think these are drag only cams but I have kelford 272s now and my buddy gave me these for a great deal.but are these ok to run in a car that is driven all the time?

 

They should work just fine, I would make sure that you have either a beehive or a dual valvespring in there as those are aggressive cams. Also talk with your engine builder as he would know the specs of your pistons and if you would have any piston to valve clearance issues with how deep your pistons valve relief pockets are cut.

 

^ what he said your tuner will get them to idle fine on aem or stock ecu just make sure there is enough to ptv clearence i switched pistons to wesico hd just to make sure for my build.

 

i have oversized valves 1mm and wesico pistons,but not the hd,u think i should be in the clear?

 

im also on a 2.4 block with 100mm cranks,dunno if it makes a diff
