AMS, PE, or Cometic are the options you should be looking at...

I'm pretty sure JohnBradley at ER uses Cometic gaskets with L19 headstuds, like him a PM.

Its all about the block and head prep prior to the headgasket. 87.5mm will be a hard one to seal no matter what. For that I'd look into the Titan SCE copper gasket.

Yeah if you bore them (factory 4g63 MLS) out that thin there is no fire ring, the factory 4G64 gasket is only a 2 layer, and the PE seems to go away if it taps the rev limit too often. Sometimes it goes away without any reason and hangs the fire ring in the cylinder.

I have done neither running at 38psi, nor did Mikey at 40psi with 10.5:1. Then again we are running an 86.6mm bore (mine) and an 87mm. I dont have any experience with the 87.5mm stuff....yet

4g64 standard bore is 86.5

SCE Gaskets makes the ICS Titan Head Gasket for Mitsubishi Evo and comes in an 87.3 bore. It has combustion o-rings and seals for the water jackets already built in.
