How many mods and why?

I've done a dynoflash to my car plus the 3" catback and MBC. I had the SAFC2 w/harness but decided to sell it as the Dynoflash seems to do it all better.
I've not messed with the suspension or wheels (yet ) as I've found the EVO to be a phenomenally great handling car just as made it

I've been to the dragstrip a few times, but mostly I just drive my car in the streets (daily commute) and in the twisties for fun whenever I get a chance I do not AUTOX or go to the tracks such as Road Atlanta, Roebling or Talladega (the last time was with my supercharged Miata a few years ago).

Anyway, I 'd like to know what if any mods most folks do and why. I just like to play with my car and see if I can get more power out it. I also enjoy driving it a lot. I don't fancy myself an expert driver or a car tuning guru. Just a guy who enjoys neat cars such as the EVO....

How about the rest of you?

You can do cams maybe 264/264. I did 264 and 272 and you can tell they are there. I think it would cost about 3-5k to make this car handle better then stock and the car is still better then I am..

As far as handling, The car is better at it than I am! I wish I had the ***** to push it to the limit, but I don't. When it comes to power, I haven't ever had an AWD car with too much power.

If these are your intentions, I would say stick with the bolt-on adds. There is no need to go internal. I would recommend going with one of BR stage kits & DynoFlash, just because of all the good reviews from so many members here. I basically did all my stuff prior to finding this place. You can see for yourself what I have done so far below. And just from what I have done so far, makes the car scream!! The way it sits right now I would say it is the perfect daily driver and a total BLAST up in the mountains! I plan on AutoX next spring, so I am going to take mine to the next level, not to mention I am addicted to sick speed (sport bike related).

FYI- as far as your poll, I think you do have too many options to choose from. It's a little confusing.

Have Fun!

I just did a driveline fluid change. The only CAUTION I got from the dealer was not to use synthetic on the rear diff. I used synthetic in the tranny and x-fer case though. I have gone 2k so far with no problem

you can use synthetic in the rear diff as long as it has limited slip additive.. i have it and i have no noise and nothing but good things to say about it.

Thanks man!
We are putting the vehicle thru four different stages of development. The final being a forged setup That will keep the engine durable for the everyday abuse of the street and strip. Yes we will race the car at our local track here in jersey. Atco raceway.
We also plan on getting involved in autox events soon this coming spring.
Our clients will and are racing there vehicles now. Mosty road racing.
But the majority do visit the 1320 often.
We look foward to great results from the vehicle this week as it will be done and road tuned for now. After the holiday we will dyno tune and post our findings with pump gas only. This will give us a better idea where the car stands in overall performance.
We also have some members of this forum that have taken part in the project and you will see there setup soon as well.
