Build your own coil on plug system

Has anyone done this? I have read we can use toyota coils, but I don't know which one. It might be camry coils. We would need a plate to mount the coils on and then bolt the plate to the valve cover. I know there are connectors out there that we can use to solder and basically plug into our stock ignition system. Lets discuss and move forward. We may need to upsize the ignition fuse slightly due to the system flowing slightly more current which is the whole intention-more spark.

Buy them already built or build them yourself.

I used Yaris coils (they fit under the spark plug cover).

I used coils from a Scion, made my own carbon fiber plate to hold the assembly and bought the harness from Spoolinup because it was easier to do. It was relatively cheap to do.

CBR coils, M&W Pro14 box and Jeff Evans made the wire harness for me, it's been absolutely flawless so far...

The stock cover fits right over it too...

Just finished my "home made" set up using Denso coils from a Honda S2000,total cost was about $20.00 since i already had the coils from a previous build. I don't think a bigger fuse is needed, but i could be wrong.I'm very pleased with the way this system works,i had a nasty misfire (spark blowout) after 28 psi of boost which this coils took care of .

Lightbulb

I can get you the wiring diagram for the Evo but i would need to know what coils you would be using to get you the other diagram since you need to know where the wires go at in the coils, the S2000 coils are pretty simple to wire up since they only have 3 connections, positive, negative and P.C.M. signal, all you have to do is splice the wires to 4 coils instead of 2,let me know if i can help.
