Best Camshafts duration
Best Camshafts duration
What factors should be considered when deciding which camshafts duration to get?
I need a camshaft upgrade for a heavily moded Evo7 with a GT42 AMS kit, 2.4 strokered, (around 600hp). Currently has HKS 272s camshaft, I'm considering a set of Kelfords with higher durations but Kelford offers several duration combinations & I'm unsure which one to pick!

off topic, only 600whp with a 42r? you can do that with a 35r,.... and 42r on a 2.4?,..
I know that the S3 seem great but I decided to get a set of Kelfords TX280, 280/276 duration, after reading their description, they seem better suited for such car with 9000rpm rev limit & 35psi max boost. I wonder if anyone has tried Kelfords with such duration?
