Lightbulb plz post your aftermkt clutch feeling here!

hey, guys, after i posted my feeling about the exedy clutch in
there

i had many people PM me about that.

after i got the Exedy single disc clutch kit from Boost solution, and installed, i really hated to drive the evo, because the engage point is too far away from the bottom, and makes the car hard to drive when it's going uphill. Until last week i got the short pushing rod, and my Yellow stainless steel clutch line from speed-source, problem solved, the clutch feels like stock clutch pressure on the padel, plus it shows me the real potential on the racing clutch with the light weighted flywheel can do on the laugh!!!
i am sure that you can get a bargain on price from them if you mention my name.

that's my clutch problem and it's solved!
what is yours?

post here and let's solve it together.
is anyone using hKs clutch or clutch master? are they good?

Clutch issues.

Hey I installed the hypersingle and I have been the same problemas you. I had the lancershop ss clutch line installed and the engagement point is way high. I bled the clutch line again and got it a little better, but still not as stock engagement. I just purchased the speed-source clutch line and will be installing it as soon as I get it. I hope it solves my problem. I also have purchased the short rod but I haven't decided if I want to install it yet. I am having problems geting the bolts out to do that.

I have one question. Is your clutch really noisy when you first engage it in first? Do you really hear it scrubbing? Mine does. It also resonates a lot on downshift from 3rd to second. Is this what you are experiencing?

I have the Excedy twin. My engagment point seems to be different, when I push the pedal in, the clutch disengages closer to the top, when I let it out, it grabs closer to the floor. I used to it now and hardly have issues with it.
The biggest thing I noticed is, SMOOTH SHIFTING. No more grinding gears, not even when speed shifting!
I also have a Perin short shifter, I adjusted it up so the shift cables aren't bent down and move more feely than when I had it shorter (It's adjustable if anyone didn't know).
Now My car shifts like butter.
I just launched it for the 1st time yesterday....WOW! No burning or unwanted slipping, (I did slip it to launch).
I only have about 650 miles on it, but it's great.
I also have clutch line and restrictor removed, stock push rod.
