Car looks great. I was scrolling down the thread looking at the cam gear pic from Jalal and started pondering about cam gear slip. Ironic to find many posts down the same thread that they did! So glad that your motor was saved. You've dumped a ton of money into this car, would be a shame to see the motor pop.

 

yea i got very lucky. such a simple thing can cause a serious issue. i do not have stock gears in my parts bin so i am going to have to make a thread for them. in the mean time i will have to keep checking the bolts.

no there not evodave lights. there pretty wild actually. i took USDM projectors and put them in these JDM housing's. this way you get the USDM angle. then while the housing was apart on the JDM lights i had that upper chrome corner painted black to match the rest of the housing.

I'll see you there sometime. I saw your car there last summer a few times. I have a LY too. I'm just hoping they don't throw me off this year.
