So what if im hitting only 7lbs, im having this problem also but only hitting 7 to 6 pounds and it feels like I hit fuel cut. Current mods are cat back, 10.5 hot side, stock intake with cone filter and I pulled the fuel pump out and found out it has a 255 walbro. And what pill are y'all talking about

^^^Why PM? post it up so others may benefit from the answer too. Isn't that the whole point of a forum?

I am helping a buddy with the same issue.

Only building ~5-6psi (good boost gauge) and feels doggy as all hell.

- There is no BCS, just an empty plug.
- MBC is hooked up correctly
- Is not a boost leak
- Turbo has no shaft play

would the BCS being not hooked up cause this?

The only code it is throwing is a P0243 Wastegate solenoid. I'm sure the code is from the BCS not being there, but would that alone cause it to only make 5-6psi at WOT????

^ So I called one of my buddys and he told me the lines are hooked up correctly and that it might be a bosst leak. Did you figure out what was wrong with your buddys car? Also another friend told me it might be in some sort of safe mode since Im not tuned anyone ever experience this. I only hit 7psi at WOT

Didn't hear from him today. I'm not sure. I have never heard of a "safe mode" for 8/9's though

^^^^^ Sparky thanks man got the assembly and just like that problem solved... Thank you all so much.
how much was the boost/vacuum hose assembly? im boosting 10-11psi as well and came down to the same conclusion of it being the restrictor pill

I didnt see or find any pill in the hose assembly my problem was simply not beign tuned. I installed a Hallman pro MBC and tuned the car, after that the car started running fine.

That was my guess but I came across this last night. Replaced all the new couplers back to the old ones (pipes were blowing off) once I get the valve cover back on just see and look for leaks I guess

If the new ones are blowing off spray a bit of hairspray on them and use t clamps that should do the trick
