TPS check/adjustment
In the FSM, the section that shows checking and adjusting the TPS, it mentions connecting a special harness between the sensor and the engine harness. Would back probing the harness do the same? I have a set of T pins that I bent to fit my multi meter leads that I use on one of my other cars, but I wanted to make sure the Evo was the same way.
usually if you have ecuflash and a tactrix cable you can check your tps voltage with monitoring it, then you go into a specific mode where you can adjust the tps at idle to get it into specs. never heard of doin it the way your speakin of??

That makes it much easier. In my Nissan, you measure the voltage with the key on by back probing the harness with it connected to the sensor. The way you are talking about, is that with ECUflash, or Evoscan?
