Built 2.0 firing on three cylinders?

So had my engine rebuilt by a local shop. When we tried starting it up it wouldn't turn. Changed out the cam sensor I believe which helped but now its only working on three cylinders if I understood correctly. My mechanic checked all the relay's and fuses, put on sparktech, but it's still having issues with one cylinder. Anyone ran into this problem before or have any guess' on what to try next?

Trying a crank sensor now see if that helps.

Did tobz put a cdi cop or a non-cdi cop?

Reason I ask is because if you put a cop(non cdi) and one cylinder wasn't working it would be a dead coil, if it was two then you got a wiring problem coming from the plug.

are you getting spark or fuel from that cylinder? im pretty sure all 4 wont fire if the CPS or CAS is inop.

your best bet since its not starting pull your spark plugs check em. if your cps or cas is bad, itll either not start, or start but not run good. CPS usually is a no start, cas is usually either no start or not run well... to work out fuel issue, spray some engine start into the tb, put uicp coupler back on fire it up, if it starts great then its easier to figure out, if starts then cuts out that means its a fuel issue.

I'm just relaying information I was given via my mechanic. He said he changed out the ECU and all is fixed apparently.

Sorry but compression, fuel pressure, or timing isn't going to affect spark on 1 cylinder.
