if im not mistaken you need the cam sensors and the crank sensors as they have to sync with each other to confirm timing is on in the ecu before the car will start

WTF??? Uh, fyi, you NEED BOTH the Cam and Crank sensors to carry out ignition AND injection functions, regardless of what ECU you may use.

if you run a 60-2 crank wheel you dont need cam sensors.

many 4age, 2jz etc runs like that here...

want to know why no cam sensor?

1. if you circuit race you want thing simple as possible on the car.
2. save space and weight etc.

if you do not want to run a cam sensor you MUST run the injectors in group fire and the ignition in wasted spark configuration.
If you want to retain reliability, you could move the stock sensor to a different location... Maybe a pickup off the cam gear instead...

You need cam sensor to know the ecu when then cylinder 1 is compression phase whatever crank pattern you have with 60-2 crank pattern you run in semi sequential mode
