Stock Evo 6/7 exhaust diameter

Does anyone know the diameter of the stock Evo exhausts?
Is it 2, 2.5 or 3 inches diameter?

Thanks

Would there be a big difference in power if you increase the diameter to 3"? As in you can really feel the difference when you're driving or you can only see it on the data sheet when you go to the dyno?

yes, you can feel the difference. more importantly, with a bigger diameter, the exhaust temps are lower, which is good when running on the track in the tropics

Thanks! If it will be that much of a difference, then I'll be considering to change mine to a 3" one. Currenty, I have the Ralliart exhaust system installed in mine. I'm thinking of changing to either A'PEXi N1 or the BLITZ NuR SPEC. What do you suggest?

Never heard the A'pex N1 but I have the Nur spec-R and if loud is what you are after than that is what you will get!

I think a custom titanium exhaust would cost a lot more than $1000...
But let me know if you find a good deal as i would want one too.

I've been looking at the HKS SuperDrager system and the Hayward and Scott(H&S) system.
Both are 3" from turbo to tailpipe but the H&S is fully stainless steel
They are expensive though at about $1500 for the full set.

evocrazy: Actually, I'm for the performance and looks. Sound is a last option. Claudius: Yah, I agree with you. The whole sound system is really heavy and the titanium is a nice alternative. Lighter and stronger. I have an offer for a Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust made of Titanium for P38,000.00 (around US$760.00). I'm still thinking about it since the appearance is not that nice and it's too noisy. RA29: I have a friend who has that HKS Super Dragger System installed in his Evo5. Performance, sound, and looks are good! That's another option I am considering. It's just hard to find Evo aftermarket parts here in my country.
