So my first question, is what am I missing to remove the transfercase from the tranny?
Does this guy have to come out first?



And last question, is what are those seals called or part number if possible. Will like to replace both.

Now that shaft has some thread where a bolt can go in there. Could that be a way to remove it or will it damage it in anyway?

 

you can thread a bolt in there with a washer on the end and use that as a pry point. you you can get a slide hammer and weld the bolt on the end of that.

 

yes that would be the way to remove it.. read the instructions / how to ... most likely any question you have is in the links that have been given to you... if you dont see it try to do a search..
