i personally would be concerned if i had that much oil pressure.
i would assume that means your oil pressure relief valve isn't doing it's job.

I remember seeing it when I had my filter housing off, I forget where exactly what port it was in though.....

and wow I never knew these cars ran such high pressure, even if it is only at 80psi, never ever seen a car go above 100psi but im new with boosted imports, always messed with V8's or cars that don't have oil pressure gauges just idiot lights.

If you're running the FP oil line setup they have a different inline filter for the ball bearing turbos (.100 hole?) to slow down the oil volume, and the normal non restricted size hole for the journal bearing turbos....But either way I doubt that would be enough to raise the psi that much

no but i am not running a oil cooler it got ruined on a past motor build and i have a evo 9 which takes the oil pressure from the oil filter housing not on the back of the block like the evo 8.should i do the dsm oil filter housing port mod and port the hole where the plunger sits a bit like this.

they say this puts the pressure right where it needs to be i personally think it is to high but my last 3 motors long story where all the same oil pressure standare size bearings. clearances are spot of rods and mains machine shop put it together.
