I would call them up directly. Let them know whats happened and what the best thing to do from here.

IMO they should be liable. I guess you'll find out if it's a good workshop or not soon!
Did they advise you that it might not work?

Agree with the above. I've personally never heard of doing them one at a time and since arp advises not to use stock torque specs and to use theirs this could have cause problems since they have a different tensile strength than oem. Have you began to look to see if the oil leak is coming from the head or somewhere else. Another reason I would never do them one by one is the fact that I personally think its safe to replace the head gasket everytime the head is loosened up

Just take it back to them. If this is a well known shop they should cover it. I did the 1x1 method myself and it was fine for about a year then it started seeping oil externally. It did that for about 2-3 years without leaking internally. My problem was I never re torqued them after a day or so of driving. Maybe thats all they need

Interesting...

I'm using the Maperformance head studs. I replaced them last year using the 1x1 method. Loosened, removed, installed and torqued down one at a time. I dont see any leaks so far and no indications of internal leaks. Now what I did do was after installing them I waited a couple minutes and went over the studs a couple times making sure they were all torqued down to spec.

Did you try to at least visually inspect an exact location of the oil leak? You should call the shop or take the car back for them to check out.

.
Those are the studs I got for my build so I shouldn't have any problems this time around.

Same spot where mine was leaking from. Good luck. Hopefully it all works out for you.

Good Luck.

Could be a bad valve cover gasket. Did you replace it with a new one?

1x1 is crap. End of discussion. Only place I've ever heard of 1x1 is on this board.
