Not much POWER gain after tune???

Hi Guys,
ive finally installed my GT3076R, new BC valvesprings+retainers, Cometic H/G & GSC lifters and when for a on the road tune this afternoon.

But im very disappointed with the power and pulling feel from my new set-up.
It is difficult to explain but i felt the pulling power and low gears response is better than when im on stock evo 5 turbo.

Im boosting at 1.4bar now and my current set-up is :
1) gsc s2 cams
2) 0.51" cometic hg
3) 38mm ultragate w/g with dual springs (14psi)
4) walbro 255 fp
5) tomei fpr

I dun think my car even achieved 350whp with 1.4bar boost.

What happen???

we usually see ~400awhp on 93 octane with a 30R setup, 350 does seem a little low but it depends on your dyno. If you can send me a 3rd gear log from 2500-limiter at wide open throttle I can take a look at it for you to see if the tune is too conservative. I can run it through my software to see where the power is in relation to my customers cars with similar mods.

Honestly, ive try to set my profec b spec-II boost controller to 1.7bar but it just cant exceed 1.5 bar...

What happening here???
My current setting is :
LOW :-
1) SET % = 30%
2) GAIN % = 5%
3) SET GAIN = 1.05
4) WARNING = 1.50
5) LIMITER = 5%

HIGH :-
1) SET % = 40%
2) GAIN % = 15%
3) SET GAIN = 1.20
4) WARNING = 1.60
5) LIMITER = 7%

thats prolly most of your issue right there james, is that damn profec b spec 2 boost controller, i had one on my car for my first source of boost control, then swapped it to a dejon tool, granted it is a step down in a sense from ebc to mbc, your best bet is to either swap that for a mbc, or look into ecu boost control with a 3port....hold more boost to redline make more power.

profec b is the worse EBC i had to deal with. I had two different ones and i could never get mine to go past 22 psi, i say put in an MBC and call it a day.

Omg! Thanks for sharing and honestly im so envy those guys who is also running around 360~420whp but their car just got power! Whenever they pedal mostly on any gears the car just response greatly!

Just like the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1X9Z...mbedded#at=134

I dont mean drifting but just the response...

the thing about ebcs is getting them setup right or youll spike high and taper a good amount or spike low and hold...i havent dealt with the turbosmart bc, i have seen the evc5 first hand that one is a good controller, but hope you can read japanese cuz most of the instructions are that haha. But let that guy mellon tuning set you up, if your self tuning get that 3 port boost solenoid, and email him your map like he was saying im sure he should be able to pull an additional 30-50hp more out of your setup. Cuz on an fp red with hks cams i made 385, with a 30r running s2 cams, you should be into the 400s on pump gas almost guaranteed.
