Installed invidia tubular manifold. spools slower now HELP!

I found a good deal on an invidia exhaust manifold on the forums on here so I picked it up just for sh*ts. Yesterday I put it in. Was a long 6 hour process because had to build a completely different radiator hose. Anyways thats all besides the point.

Now instead of hitting full boost at like 3000-3200 it takes til about 3700-4000 and im on my stock turbo. Still boosts the same amount as i was before just seems like there is a lot more lag now then there was before. I always thought a tubular mani was suppose to flow more air thus spool faster.. I may be wrong here.

Im thinking maybe exhaust manifold leak??? The guy i bought it from said he just had all the welds redone at the flange because there was a problem with it before i guess.

Is there a good solid way to check for exhaust mani leaks. Ive seen some people say run seafoam through the engine because it smokes white and you could see if it comes out anywhere on the mani...

ALL HELP WITH BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS!!

Did you replace the exhaust mani to head and mani to turbo gaskets?
