Hello ,
finally install my transmission rebuild by shep, everything was put together , only
a few minor adjustments to go . For some reason I cann't shift into 5th gear
and giving me hard time going into reverse, I heard about adding a washer on
on the reverse switch , I did just that and it does able me to shift reverse a little
bit, but not going into 5th.

anyone have any ideas?.

Try adjusting your clutch pedal and check your cables. If your clutch isn't adjusted properly it will be difficult getting into gears.

 

From 1st to 4th gears smoothly , reverse , with some effort but 5th as if never exist.

 

I would just check to see if the clutch is still adjusted properly. I had the same issue in the past and ended up being the adjustment. If that fails, check your cables for binding. If that still isn't it then disconnect the cables off of the trans and trying shifting into fifth and reverse by hand. If it still doesn't go in then it's an internal problem and I would proceed to contact Shep.
