i will post a pic in the morning but i am certain that the pump is there but there is now reservoir there. my dash have the 3 light lit for tarmac snow and gravel.
Look in your trunk. There might be a cover on the left hand side with the reservoir behind it.
This is how it is on my car.Windshield washer fluid reservoir is also located in the trunk.

Thats the stock boost solenoid. the lines go and tee off into the turbo and the J pipe, I believe. How are you controlling boost on your vehicle? Where are the vacuum lines off the turbo currently since they are obviously not attached to the solenoid?
The ACD reservoir is in the engine bay, right by the airbox on USDM.

but now back to the original question, will running without the reservoir hurt my transmission at all?
i got the car with a stupid manuel boost controller that was ran inside the cab. is there a possibility that someone could post the vacuum line diagram from me please so i could disconnect this boost controller or actually hook it up correctly.

but mot likely you have a non acd equipped evo... meaning either someone tried to convert to an acd tcase and just stopped... or it had an acd tcase and the person went to a non acd case but didnt pull the pump assembly out... because your pump is there but reservoir is out...
That car seems to have been "tweeked" a little bit.
I agree with Izabran ^^^^
It's probably on it's second set of tranny/T-case (non-acd are easier to find) and they were too lazy to pull the ACD pump or thought about keeping it bolted-up incase they wanted to go back. That's my take.
Is the idle lopey at all or smooth as glass? What is the idle RPM? You probably have mystery cams, aswell. How hard is your clutch pedal? Might have an ACT in there, too. This is a common story around here. Nothing really wrong with any of it...just sucks that you didn't get full disclosure so you know what to expect.
Can you take a picture of your transfer case? I personally don't know all the differences visually, but someone might. There is also the fluid line going to the T-case for the pump. I don't think the '03-'04 T-cases had this. This could eliminate your fear for running without fluid to the ACD.
This is the bleed nipple for the ACD fluid on an '05 T-case (at the bottom next to the inspection plate and drain plug). If yours doesn't have this, I'm fairly certain you have an older non-acd T-case.
