help with i/c piping
Ok so trying not to sound like a cheap *** here but what's the best bang for my buck on a full hardpipe kit for circa $400. I have a stock battery btw
Quick reminder, you get what you pay for. Sometimes the stock piping is better than cheap aftermarket pieces. Take your pick: http://www.maperformance.com/evo-vii...cooler-piping/
I personally run ETS piping, love the fit and quality.

the reason I want it is because I'm starting to wear a hole in the rubber elbow near the radiator fan. Any thoughts on injen? They have a full kit for under 4. Is it legit?
Cause this things a handful of small parts and a tune away from bein a 400hp dd and I don't want to shred another elbow or blow it up usin ebay piping lol, she's already got enough problems lmao
Replacing the uicp yields no gains, but i just did it for the hell of it. You can save yourself some money and not do it, if rubbing is an issue, adjust your uicp.
Heres my setup:
Fitment is spot on, no more stock coupler rubbing on radiator fan.

In most cases yes, unless you replace your uicp with a short route kit, which would at least improve throttle response. Bottom line is, you want to have less coupler and more solid piping. I dont like how the factory uicp couplers expand under boost.
