Possible bad synchros? Or what else could it be?..

I tried searching for possible symptoms of bad synchros but I didn't come across my issue anywhere.

When downshifting in to any gear, it shifts in to the gear just fine, but when I am releasing the clutch that a pretty loud whine/rubbing sound happens until it is completely in gear. If I rev match while downshifting, this sound doesn't hapeen. It also happens quite frequently when releasing the clutch intially in first gear.

Any possible leads? I had an exedy twin hd installed back in January, car has ~58,000 miles.

sounds like the clutch to me.
it's probably normal.
If the clutch is new, it needs to bed in.
The "sound" will probably change over time

its not the clutch, because it didn't do it as bad at first, and now 4000 miles later this sound is becoming worse and worse. Also, it did it some before the twin was installed, and has just increased severity over time.
This also rules out that it just needs to be bed in, it has definitely had its time.

maybe the grease is wearing off the fork arms that attach to the tob and now its creating a louder howling noise? that is if you greased it.. which you should have btw.

That could be a possibility, i didn't do the install, a local shop did.

and no, thats the weird thing. like say im coasting in neutral then it needs to match up to say 3000 rpms, it will make this noise. But when getting on it and slipping it between shifts, say from 5000 down to the same 3000, it won't do it.
