Help with transmission and random. please?
Hi, I'm super new to this site, as in a couple days. And I'm getting an evo next month, super fast, LOTS of money in it. And a buddy who knows alot about cars said something about how when I'm just racing, I don't have to hit the clutch. Just throw it into place. And I know thats not smart, but after a while he started to convince me. So does it work and is it good or bad??? Another thing, it has all this money in the car and its scary fast. Like 526 HP on race gas. At 31psi. But the transmission and rear end(s) are stock.. still good or bad?? Help!

You should prob start by reading the how to buy a used evo sticky. Not all of them that are crazily moddified are the best bang for the buck. You might be buying a money pit that someone else has not taken very good care of. If I was you I would definately check my other options before leaping on the first one I seen.
As for dry shifting, I wouldn recommend doing it. In tephra there is an option for nlts which means no lift to shft which is the opposite. You never have to lift off the gas. It basically cuts the ignition when the clutch is depressed for a split second.
