Replaced the disks in my QM twin... found something odd.

This is the outer disk from the flywheel, the one with the "tall" hub.

See the stress cracks?

Closer:

The other inner disk "short hub" has 3/6 starting to crack.

I never launched hard from 1st, not even once on the 12K I got out of it, I did have 3 HPDE's use on it. Aside from some "test and compare" the vast majority of the miles on the clutch were from the Interstate driving from Fridley, MN->Fort Campbell, KY->Key West, FL->Houston, TX->Fort Campbell, KY.

When I rebuilt my qm it burned up again in 500 miles. Those new disks after 500 miles looked just like yours. Qm did nothing for me

No. But it is such a nice clutch. So smooth and quite on the street. Easy to drive. And when u hit the track its there when you need it. So far I love it. I have had exedy and qm. This OS is my favorite

That's from heat and high vibrations like hard downshifts and the such
