car is fine during normal cruise and idle when the a/c is off but when i turn the a/c ON the the rpms would rise up from 1k on idle to almost 2k then back down to 1k rpms or sometimes go below 1k and the car stalls if i dont step on the gas pedal.

I had a similar issue using my AC which I do not use too often.


Car would stall at a stop with the AC on, called my tuner and he did his work and all has been well since. GL.

 

Battery disconnected lately?

 

i disconnected it several times in a span of 5 months.

 

i hope i have the time to drive 4 hours to my tuner........

 

When battery is disconnected it will need to relearn idle. Both with AC off and AC on.

This can take a couple days on my car depending on how long I drive it for. So I'd say if in some time it doesn't clear itself up your Desired Idle w/ AC On maps may need to be adjusted

 

What rpm is your car idling at?

1k rpms normally when a/c off

 

i daily drive the car but i only use the a/c when the heat is untolerable!lol........
i was just scared out of hell yesterday when i turned the a/c on at the stop light and when i made the left turn the car stalls and the power steering turned off....S**T!......i almost hit the pavement!!
