OMFG Electrical Gremlins... need help

Let me start out by saying I have no clue when it comes to electrical systems in cars.
And now, to make a very long story short... I've done two alternator swaps on my Evo. First one back in 2008 and the second a few weeks ago (second alternator a Douglas Autoworks high output). Well, today my car starts displaying the same alternator dying symptoms (first my LC-1 wideband starts resetting itself and displaying E 9 (Supply Voltage too low), then my Defi gauges turn on and off constantly until eventually just staying off, then the clock goes out, then the radio, then the rest of the dash lights, then the car just sputters until the battery has no juice to keep it on). Only weird thing I noticed was the RPMs were unusually high for the whole five minute show (holding at 2k then increasing to 3k then dropping down to barely staying on). The battery is also only several weeks old (Odyssey PC680).
Anyways, I doubt it's the alternator's fault. I believe there's something wrong with my car's electrical system but since I'm an idiot when it comes to electrical systems I have no clue what I'm talking about or where to begin. I'm sick of blowing money on alternators for it to only work a few weeks. I'm about to drive this ****ing car off a cliff.
There's a Mitsubishi dealer (apparently) in Seoul but the language barrier is gonna be an epic pain in the *** to get around. That's gonna be my last resort.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Say that it's not over 12v... then what?
Reason I say that is because my car is an hour away from me right now since I had to tow it to the closest military installation.

Maybe harness problems like the ones mentioned here

Before you go into panic gremlin mode just grab a voltmeter and connect to + and - of the battery. It should show about 12V now start the car, the voltage should be a little higher, about 13.5V to 14V. If not your alternator is not working.

I'm trying to find out what's killing my alternator. There's no reason a new alternator should die after only 3-4 weeks. Something else is wrong.

Hey bud i ran into a similar problem where my car battery kept dying. I had the same exact symptoms.
There may be a fuse-like connector on your positive terminal. Make sure its not blown.

There are many reasons. First you need to determine if the alternator is dead or not. So look at my previous post and test the voltage.
