1680's would work better but doing that is more of a cop out and working around the issue rather than making what I know will work actually work. There are enough cars with good results from the 2000cc that I don't feel injector is the problem. I've talked to Tony at T1 and he has gotten similar setups to work with no issues.

No leaks. It has all been checked.

It is most likely the minimum IPW patch that needs to be done with the stock ecu... I have a 2.4l AWD 272s and I idle at 1000rpm...

Who did your tuning? And what is ipw patch? I know very little about stock ecu and tuning.

Lots of FIC2150 (ID2000) cars that run on stock computer, DSMlink V3, AEM, Haltech, etc. SD and 2150s definitely get a long better, the min IPW as Freddy mentioned is important to get them to idle on trims. Most big cam/intake manifold cars like 13.0 idle though anyway.

My idle afr is 12.6 and I'm still getting these bad results. If I wanted to ask the guy who tuned about ipw, what would I ask him to make sure it's where it should be?

well you want your fuel trims for STFT (short term fuel trim) and LTFT (long term fuel trim) to be + or - 3, so your tuner might have to mess with the injector scaling number or voltage to get the trims dialed in right, then you should be able to mess with the afr and timing in the idle load cells to help dial in your idle and cruising to get it better, but be forewarned he might be able to get it good, but it wont be perfect not with those injector size.

Incorrect, once you set up the minimum IPW patch the injectors behave great...

Thanks man I'm going to get my guy to look at that thread. I was reading it a little but it's kinda foreign to some one who doesn't know how to tune.

+1

The min IPW thing is probably the issue, as Freddie has stated.

Hopefully you'll get it worked out. If you need any assistance, feel free to ask.

Who else tuned your car? I thought brad brooks tuned it at first. I have been tuned by david Buschur with my aem setup and by my friend charlie(kreonic) when I was on stock ecu. Car ran great either. Your setup is similar to mine except I have a hta86.

Good luck.
