Cam Sensor??

Hey guys how are you. I have an IX thats just about bone stock, save for the ACT Streetlight flywheel and Heavy duty clutch I just put in, it was running fine but because I got grease all over it when i did the clutch so i decided to get it washed. After leaving the car wash, I noticed it was missing and had the CEL on. I limped it home, and scanned it and noticed it was throwing two codes, one for cam angle sensor and one for cyl #2 missfire, and I also had pending codes of the same thing, I waited a little while thinking maybe something got wet, and then I took the scanner and reset the ECU and all was fine again for about 5 miles, then the miss and CEL came back. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?? Did I get something wet and the cam sensors be going and this is my early warning? BTW the car has a little under 45K on it, and its been down pretty much since april with the dead clutch that I just had time to do. Any help is much appreciated, than you all in advance.

what exactly did you get washed? did you pressure spray your engine bay at the car wash?

Was the same car wash that I've gone to 100 times before and never had a problem before this with any of my cars, I even go to a hand wash so my paint doesn't get messed up from the brushes. No didnt spray the engine bay, or anything like that. whatever water got in would be the same water if it rained hard.

everything was fine directly after the clutch install right? pretty much right after you gave the car a wash it malfunctioned? that tells me moisture or water got somewhere it shouldn't of and is causing issues.

Yeah everything was perfect right after the clutch. rechecked the connectors to the cam sensors, everything is tight. I even started the car and moved the wires to the cam sensors around a little bit. Ran fine, then about 10 miles or so and the CEL came on again, interestingly though the miss wasn't as bad, matter of fact it went away after a few seconds, but the CEL remained on.
