How to Increase Torque?
More boost without timing will make more torque than the other way around. Where you might be at the edge with only 2-3* more timing and get 10-15 ft lbs (depending on combo) adding 2-3 lbs will make way more torque.
The best answer is the biggest motor you can afford (2.4 normally or 2.3 in a standard build). MIVEC and small cams can help do the same thing. Do you have a dyno sheet or VDR?

say if my were tune for 1.6 bar of boost and if i slightly adjust it to 1.7 bar will it effect my tune (AFR)?
Do you have a built motor? What are your mods? Your tuner might have went conservative so you don't break anything. He is really the one you should be asking. That seems on par with most 30r's I have seen.

Hi RevMoto, so you mean my power is quite average for a Gt30 and if i up boost to 1.7 bar will it effect my current tuning?
Yeah, unless pushed to its limits I have never seen a 30r do too well on a 2 liter and low boost. Upping boost will have an affect on AFR sure but how much I can't tell you. JohnBradley is a pretty smart guy so I would listen to what he has to say. Also that is nuts how you are on a stock clutch.I could only imagine how much longer that is going to last. People with a built motor do tend to run higher boost than what you are running.
45kg m translates to only 325tq so he is definitely not even close to the clutch slipping on normal driving such as not launching the car.
jameswwt, I think you should have your tuner turn up the boost to more than 1.6-1.7bar (23-24psi) and adjust the tune. I believe thats where all your torque is hiding
