How to Increase Torque?

Hi Guys,
just wonder how to increase torque as some of my friends ride whp is lower than i but their torque is about the same as mine.

Just wonder how to get more torque without changing any major parts.

Current Torque = 40kg-m
Boosting at 1.6 bar
GT3076R

Thanks

Reducing the timing or increasing the timing for better Torque achievement?

Depends on the car. Sometimes lower will achieve better torque.

Mivec tuning could help too if applicable.

Since it says he drives an Evo V, I don't think it would help.

Ive always wondered this same thing.. Why some cars with less done to it could achieve higher torque numbers then other cars with more mods.

More boost without timing will make more torque than the other way around. Where you might be at the edge with only 2-3* more timing and get 10-15 ft lbs (depending on combo) adding 2-3 lbs will make way more torque.

The best answer is the biggest motor you can afford (2.4 normally or 2.3 in a standard build). MIVEC and small cams can help do the same thing. Do you have a dyno sheet or VDR?

Yup joys of the mobile format. How about just changing the intake cam timing via adj gear
