Need help removing ecu pin
Hey guys,
Im in the middle of installing a wideband into my 8. The part i thought would be one of the easiest is giving me major issues. I cant get the rear 02 pin out of the ecu plug. Ive searched and tried everything i could find to do. The white clip is up and ive poked, prodded and pushed everything i can and still cant get the pin out.
I was hoping to get this pin out so i can just pop in the new wideband wire i installed a new pin onto but its not cooperating. If i cant get it soon im thinking about just cutting the wire off above the plug and soldering in the new wire.
If anyone has any tips or suggestions please let me know before i lose my mind. Here are a couple pics of what im looking at. Any help is appreciated!!

did you try using a needle and coming in from the other side, i did that and it worked well. the pin that slots in there has two clasps that keep it held in and you have to get them to unhook. good luck
There is a special tool for disengaging those plug pins. You might see if the tool from other connector manufacturers, like Metropac might work
