My friend thought he was buying used GSC S3 cams, but these are what showed up. Anyone have a clue what they are? Obviously he's trying to get his money back since they aren't S3's plus they're chewed up, but we're still curious.

I called and asked GSC if they were their cams and they said they were not.

whaaaa those are stock 8 cams? i got them in my garage back at home i should go look lol. that would be messed up if someone sold him stock 8 cams saying they were s3s

 

Pics of stock cams to verify? I don't recall ever seeing those markings on stock cams.

That is an S3 grind code i can tell you more if you send me the 4 digit batch ID on the opposite side.

As everyone else said those journals are a bit torn up and shouldnt be run in that condition. I'd suggest having a machine shop polish those journals to remove any high spots and you should be ok to use them.
