dont think it would run out of puff , its all what you want it to do. It would be a TQ monster and that would be fun.
one of the best threads on here is this guys 2.3L GT 3076r (his car is in the 500hp 450tq range)

We have done some 2.2 stuff with the 3076 and 3076HTA. A 2.4 and this turbo would make for a good track setup. I will look for the 2.2 dyno sheet.

I would like to stick with my gt3076, my other option would be to reduce the capacity?

Hi Aaron
I was just about to email you.
I am stuck on a night shift in the Ford engine factory and have a bit of spare time.
I have found a 4g64 block and am thinking of the 156 LR setup?
The car will be used for mainly track use and some road, what do you think, will the turbo keep up?

I think so to be truthful. The 2.2 was fairly aggressive and didnt seem to have issues. It was a full Cosworth 2.2 with M3s, Buschur ported stock intake manifold, SD, 1000s, Blitz SBC with some weird feedback issues (why its erratic), HKS R-Spec FMIC, HKS Ti exhaust.

The car could have made more but the owner was very specific about the amount of boost he wanted to run and not wanting to put any racegas in it. So for the tune it had timing that was maximised hot and heatsoaked. No water on the intercooler, the car wasnt shut off between pulls, and I did this for 45 minutes. Timing is also a little low which is why the graph is a little choppy as well. I would make pulls at a given boost level, make a new folder and turn it up. I think it had about 20 runs that night between 16 and 22psi.
