misfire in high rpm shifts

misfire in high rpm shifts

having misfire issue in high rpm right after shifting. doesnt do it with straight pulls just after you shift then punch it. any advice as to why this is happening????

It is most likely a tune/overboost issue. Take it to a near by shop and let someone look at it.

Had this problem before, if you checked your plugs, I would look at the wires as well...

Were at 30 lbs on e85. I have a spoiling up cod don't know why this is happening. I'm using ngk br7es. Should I use different plugs??? Maybe a step colder plug??? Ngk br8es???

I had that years ago in my VIII with a hairline cracked piston. But it was easy to tell, as I had a wet spark plug (oil) in the effected cylinder.

Tune the ECU and take it from there. If you still having the missfire i will check for the piston. Some member cracked their piston due from to much timing advance "Stock piston".
