Please Help - Unable to Achieve GSC S2 Cams Setting Spec

Hi Greg,
ive re-tune the car and we still encounter low end mis-firing but better power band on high end after 4000rpm and without mis-firing.
We have adjusted the ignition but its still the same...
Exmp : Car can hardly move on all the gears...Car just cant go smooth and when full pedal, no power instead very very heavy...
What do your advise on the cams setting?
Thanks

James

Thanks CIJ,
im really so frustrated as ive just rebuilt my engine and never thought of putting in an aftermarket cams can be so frustrating...
Ive almost come to accept on either :
1) A Screwed Built Up
2) A Screwed Cam Gear (Which is Confirmed - The Timing Marking was Wrong)
3) A Screwed GSC S2 cam gear setting
4) A Screwed Tuning (Which i believed the chances is not high)

Any other things which might caused all this problem (Cam sensor, Low Compression, Faulty Engine Rebuilt, Etc)???

Tomorrow will be my last try as we will do :
1) My mech said he will set the gsc s2 cams to his spec (to set the timing to the factory marking)
if still can't, then i think i will slot back the stock cams & cam gear and see what happen...
If still CANT! Then i think its time to burn the car (joking) its time to dump in a used Evo Engine from the Chop Shop...

Its really sad to see a hardwork and dream cams going down the drain...Its will be the time of selling my Evo...

Thanks Guys for your patience & advise throughout my odeal...
(Will be Praying for a favor in resolving my problem tonite).

I know this can be frustrating but without data logs, it will be almost impossible to determine what is going on. FWIW, I know ideally one should 'degree' a cam, but I thought the new GSC cams were just 'drop in'.

What are you using to control your fuel and timing ? Stock ECU or aftermarket ? Can you post data ?

Hi Cij911, thanks for your advise as im using PFC Ecu and yes, me too thought a drop in cams as simple as that...
We have degree the cams...
At first if im not wrong, my mech advance a tooth on the intake side and now he changed the setting to retard a tooth on the intake but nothing improve and ive change a new spark plugs today b4 tuning today...

I dont why i always have to go thru such ordeal as other owners always just modd and drive happily on their ride...

My Problem finally solved and all the frustrating episodes was caused by a faulty Cam Gears.
Please refer to the attached pictures as my mech have match the oem cam gears with the faulty cam gears....
The different of Oem & the faulty cam gear is 1 tooth.
