TB seals and EGR Blockoff?

Im replacing the TB shaft seals and my Q is: it possible to do the EGR block off while the TB is off?, or does the Intake manifold HAVE to come off? Thanks

Intake manifold does not have to come off unless you want to drill, tap & plug the EGR port in the head...With the TB off the EGR block off plate is easy to install...

The ONLY thing I have heard people mention about not plugging the EGR port in the head is possibly melting the gasket if you are running one of those thermal spacer style gaskets. I did not plug my head & I have been running one of those thermal style spacer/gaskets for the past 8k+ miles with no issues...

Yes you can, I have everything removed on my car including the EGR hardline that runs from the front to the back of the car...

BJ is that the fat one that runs in front of the drivers side that we popped off to get the lines/hoses off the intake manifold? I think in the how to the guy cut his... and what is the connector beside the EGR solenoid, its just an elec conn, there are no lines. It goes under the intake runners, im just curious as to what it is...
